This shop is named after a very psychedelic movie that George Harrison wrote the music for during the 60s. The store offers musical instruments, Egyptian fine art reproductions, imported carpets & jewelry, hand-painted tambourines Kama Sutra bath salts & gels, belly dance adornments, incense from Tibet & India, sitar lessons, books & cds, and BEATLE THINGYS! Run by classical Indian musicians who have been performing around Chicago for a number of years from the group, Sandalwood Sitar Music Ensemble, the only Indian Band I know of who plays Beatle music. I've seen them at Khyber Pass Restaurant and the Old Town School of Folk music and they are truly incredible. Their store is the only place in Chicagoland where you can buy Paul Saltzman's Beatles in India book. [Store] [Sandlewood Sitar Ensemble] [Sitar Lessons with Clar Monoco]
